Find out how you can watch and listen live to the Africa-only Live 8 concert at Eden this weekend. BBC Cornwall will be streaming the entire event, so if you can't be there - then this is the place to be!

BBC Cornwall are giving you access to watch and listen live to the Africa-only Live 8 event 'Africa Calling' at The Eden Project on Saturday 2 July.

How do I watch the event?

Visit this page on July 2 from 1pm on Saturday July 2, click on the Africa Calling promo to the right of this page and watch the whole event unfold before your very eyes. How do I listen to the event?

Listen to a live broadcast of the event between 6 - 11pm on BBC Radio Cornwall on 103.9FM, 95.2FM. Alternatively you can also click on the BBC Local Radio Listen Live link at this time situated on the right of this page.Radio 3 Radio 3 will be broadcasting live from Eden on Saturday 2 July between 3 - 4pm. On Monday 4 July between 7.30 - 9.30pm they will also be broadcasting highlights from Saturday's Africa Calling event. Both of these will be available "on demand" via the radio player and the Africa Lives radio player.
The concert will be hosted by ex-Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel. Peter has championed world music for the past 25 years, and is the co-founder of the world music body Womad. He will be also be joined by Johnny Kalsi of the Dhol Foundation.

Africa Calling will take place at the same time as the main concert in London's Hyde Park and will feature a host of African acts including the Senegalese artist Youssou N'Dour - who had the hit '7 Seconds' in 1994 with Neneh Cherry - is hoping to perform in London, Paris and Cornwall all on the same day.Click back here on July 2 at 1pm to watch the event live.
