Womad, meanwhile, is hitting back with its strongest bill in years, including world music's biggest name Youssou N'Dour supported by Afro-Celt Sound System, Robert Plant and hot new Malian names Amadou & Mariam. Glastonbury's jazz-world line-up is arguably even more bankable - Baaba Maal, Bebel Gilberto, Taj Mahal and Femi Kuti.
